Orders and Pricing
We collect information you provide directly to us when you make a purchase, request a quote, or sign up for updates. This may include:
- Quotes: All quotes provided are valid for 7 days due to the fluctuating nature of lumber and commodity pricing.
- Availability: Orders are subject to stock availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities or cancel orders if an item is no longer available.
- Accuracy: We strive for accuracy, but errors in pricing or descriptions may occur. We reserve the right to correct these errors and cancel any orders placed under incorrect information.
Payment Terms
Payments are due at the time of purchase unless you have a pre-approved commercial credit account. For custom orders or special-order non-stock items, a non-refundable deposit or full payment may be required upfront.
Delivery and Pick-up
If you provide your mobile phone number, Armstrong Lumber may send you text messages (SMS) regarding your orders, delivery status, or service updates.
- Delivery: We offer delivery to specified locations. Our drivers will attempt to place materials in a safe, accessible area (typically curbside). We are not responsible for damage to property (driveways, lawns, etc.) if you request delivery beyond the curb.
- Site Readiness: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the delivery site is clear and accessible.
- Pick-up: Orders for pick-up must be collected within 5 business days of notification.
Returns and Exchanges
- Standard Stock: Returns are generally accepted within 30 days with a valid receipt, provided the material is in original, resalable condition. A restocking fee may apply.
- Custom/Special Orders: Custom-cut lumber, special-order windows/doors, and “final sale” items cannot be returned or exchanged.
SMS and Communication
By providing your phone number, you agree to receive automated and manual text messages from Armstrong Lumber regarding your orders, delivery schedules, and service inquiries.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
- Your consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchase.
Limitation of Liability
Armstrong Lumber is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or delays in delivery. Our liability is limited to the replacement of defective material or a refund of the purchase price.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nueces County.
